Hi there!
About the rates, how much do you think it is best? My idea, is that for my own language pair (English-Farsi) the rate is between $0.07 to $0.12. Is it fair?
Do you know how much is the standard, because most of the times i'm confused!

Hi Anonymous,
I'm afraid I don't know about rates for English to Farsi. It may depend what country you live in as well as what language pair you translate in. If you have a local translator's association they may be able to advise, e.g. by letting you know about minimum recommended rates.

P.S. Do consider posting under your real name rather than anonymously - it's more friendly!

Thanks Carol!
The problem is that there exists not an actual standard in companies here, so some translators are paid well, and most of them, most of the time, underpaid!
I just found that rate related to my language pair in proz.com and not by asking any of these associations.
People prefer to abuse rather than being honest and just!
